Witchcraft

I’ve always had an interest in magic and the occult.

Although I was raised a Catholic, as a teen I dabbled in Wicca and tarot, but not with any serious conviction and I abandoned the path as quickly as I’d thrown myself into it. By the time I left school, I knew that Catholicism was not my path, but I spent many years questioning what my personal belief system was.

I found my way back to witchcraft around 4-5 years ago and it has become an important part of the person I am today. It is my connection with everything – it’s how I tap into myself, how I connect with nature, how I commune with my gods. It greatly improves my mental health and my ability to connect with other people.

I live with anxiety and depression, and it was following one of my lowest periods that I started looking into alternative healing. My research into homeopathic and holistic remedies lead me naturally towards spirituality and after exploring many different paths, I found that I am an eclectic witch – I don’t follow one set path, instead I draw inspiration from many different paths. I work mostly with the Norse pagan gods and the moon, using a combination of crystals, herbs, essential oils, candles, and card readings.

I’m still very new to my path, still absorbing as much information as I can, and I plan to use this corner of my site as a digital book of shadows. I’ll be talking about some of my favourite rituals, and making a record of the spells and recipes that work for me.

If you have spells to share or any advice to give, I’d love to hear from you! Check out my Contact page for all the ways you can get in touch.
